When I’m looking for accommodation in Queenstown I want a few things. Quiet, calm, good food, sustainability in its heart, epic views, not far from must do‘s. I’m sinking into the delicious feeling of hanging out in my home town and sharing the absolute gems of places you can stay while you’re here on holiday or staying here for your ‘staycation’. Weekend alone relaxing anyone?!
Stay of Queenstown hits all these nails on all of their heads. You can experience full tranquility and still be right near town. About 5 minutes walk or 3 if you race your friend.
Stay of Queenstown sits overlooking the tranquility of Lake Wakatipu right here in Central Queenstown and on my recent stay there (child free night alert!) I could not believe how quiet it was. I sat and listened. A rustle of the trees (more on the garden later), a little giggle from the swimmers in the water, the clouds rolled by and I was in heaven. The fact that the hubbub of downtown adrenaline capital was a few meters away was unheard. They went about their business and I went about mine. I could sit back, relax, unwind, refresh.
Whether you’re here for the weekend, a few weeks, or you are lucky enough to call this place home you can sink into absolute relaxation mode and know all your ‘must have’s’ are catered for.
All rooms have private entrances, an outdoor sitting area, lake and mountain views, their own private bathroom, living room and kitchen and they’re all new. Sparkling clean, everything you could need and little treats to make your stay the getaway you’ve always dreamed of. One or two bedroom suites are self-contained with everything you need to either hide away or get out amongst all that Queenstown and Central has to offer.
Every afternoon fresh local breads and jams, fruit and cereal are delivered to each room for your morning breakfast and the organic garden is a step away for you to pluck tomatoes fresh off the vine, fruit and vegetables.
Large luxurious beds with fresh linen, heated floors for your tootsies on those cold crisp Queenstown mornings (skiing!), views that will knock your socks off, and the relaxing sway of the trees set amongst lawns and quiet private places to sit are dotted around the property.

No paper or plastic utensils, straws or bottles. Double glazing and installation throughout the buildings, LED energy saving light bulbs in all rooms, fruits and vegetables are grown on site, food waste goes into their compost. Plant based cleaning products are used throughout and products are bought from local suppliers. Flowers and fresh plants are lovingly placed throughout all the suites and diffusers are set to welcome you into a haven of relaxation and quiet.
