Book Club that’s what Monday was! We were reading ‘The Miniaturist’ by Jessie Burton and what a divide we caused! I couldn’t finish it, some hated it and some absolutely loved it. That’s what books do to people. Have you heard about our book club yet? There’s now over 60 of us in Queenstown and 1000 all over the world. Women joined together reading with Poppy Loves Book Club. Join us!
It was Angel Divine‘s 3rd birthday this week and so it was cupcakes for all! I love cupcakes so I was a happy girl. *Does happy cake dance til I fall over*. Go in there and see their new stuff. I have to stay away. My bank manager and I aren’t the best of friends at the minute anyway.
Tuesday then saw me jump on a flight to Auckland and head up to the Coromandel. Have you been up there!? Such a different landscape to the one down here. I love my mighty South Island but wowsers what a ride.
A short steepish walk to Cathedral Cove and you get scenes like this! Some beach time was just what I needed.
On the recommendation of a friend I headed to the Purangi Winery for some pizza and relaxation. Wow what a view and I ate enough pizza to feed a small army.
On my travels we also hit up Thames for some walking on the beach, breathing in that sea air. Hahei saw us staying in a tiny hut in the trees. Man the cicadas are loud!
Always good to get away but oh so glorious to come home to paradise. This week has started with a bang, more of that to come!
Love these images Queenstown Life…Queenstown is a very inspiring place to live!
It sure is Dawn! Thank you 🙂
