Well what a week. I feel like I keep saying that but it’s true. The week’s are flying by and I haven’t done my washing for weeks days.
Monday saw me meeting with James Perry, a photographer in town who is shooting cancer in the face, have a read here . I have decided that there are so many creative types in this town we all need to meet up. So photographers (or people like me who just like to take lots of photos) we are having photo-off once a week in a different locations. Get in touch if you fancy joining! Email me at hello@queenstownlife.com
We had our second Poppy Loves Book Club Queenstown! Such a lovely evening of books, wine, wontons and laughing. We’re doing it again in October so just get in touch if you would like to join us! Or read about it here
There was a general election (and I actually remembered to vote), we had rain, snow and hot sunshine just to confuse us even more. I started the day in scarf and gloves and had to strip down to my vest at one point. Glamorous dressing at the moment.
The mileage is cranking up for the Queenstown Marathon. I am doing the half but why is it I want to eat everything in sight? Cake anyone?
The lovely people at Shotover Lodge invited me along to see their Studio Apartment accommodation. It’s so light, airy and cozy. Why aren’t I living there? Queenstown Resort College have taken it over and it’s available now for long term renters.
You can read about them here
And finally I travelled to Auckland for some time out and to re-charge the batteries.I ate my entire body weight in cake. I’m not joking they had to wheel me out of chop chop and La Noisette. But I always love coming home though don’t you.
It is always nice to come home, hey 🙂
Love coming home Frederique 🙂
