\"Chantecler<\/a>\"Chantecler<\/a>Remember the first time you inhaled the perfume of a flower? The first time you rolled down a grassy verge not knowing if you would stop at the bottom. The first time you ran amongst secret gardens of fountains and trees and hideouts. Chantecler<\/span><\/a> Gardens is one such special place that has been on my list here in Queenstown forever and recently I got the chance to run amok amongst it’s bluebells, bridges, Japanese garden and secret tree houses. Owner Mike has absolutely worked his socks off (with some side help) to get this place blowing minds.<\/p>\n

\"Chantecler<\/a> \"Chantecler<\/a> \"Chantecler<\/a> \"Chantecler<\/a>Available for tours by request Chantecler<\/span><\/a> Gardens is right in the centre of Ladies Mile Queenstown and was recently opened up for a fundraiser for a local charity; Queenstown Lakes Family Centre.<\/p>\n

My jaw was on the floor when we stepped inside the gates. How could it feel so English, New Zealand, Asian inspired all at once? It kept giving and giving with every twisty path that we meandered down.<\/p>\n

Somewhere peaceful but busy with life, bees zapped around, birds languished in ponds, I tripped the light fantastic.<\/p>\n

\"Chantecler<\/a> \"Chantecler<\/a> \"Chantecler<\/a> \"Chantecler<\/a> \"Chantecler<\/a>Twelve acres of pristine land which started it’s life with a few Rhododendrons and roses and after being purchased in 2003 the land was expanded significantly (and was supposed to be hobby!) but quickly turned into something magical, a hell of a lot of hard work and an absolute must see here in Queenstown.<\/p>\n

Mike and family you have absolutely made a girl smile! So much well done.<\/p>\n
