I feel like a trip to London wouldn’t be London without some burgers and fries and what better way to get out of the rain (it’s the UK what else would you expect?) than to cozy on down in Patty and Bun<\/span><\/a>‘s newest location in Pembridge Road,\u00a0Notting Hill<\/span><\/a> for some delicious burgers, fries and a whole lot more than we bargained for (aka couldn’t do up my top button of my trousers).<\/p>\n

Best burgers in London? You’ve just found them.<\/p>\n

Patty and Bun now have nine locations<\/span><\/a> all across London and have been supplying the best burgers to hungry weary customers for a few years now. With their burger knowledge in mind “great meat with a good fat percentage and a good bun that holds all the juice together (they use a demi brioche)”, I was expecting great things. With my awesome burger-in-chief-dinner-pal Poppy Loves<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0alongside we settled down to burgers (I went for Ari Gold Cheeseburger), Chips with rosemary salt (lick your fingers alert), chicken wings, cheese balls with extra hot sauce, brisket nuggets and some amazing Patty and Bun Mayo to go alongside.<\/p>\n

I couldn’t move from the table.<\/p>\n

The discerning factor of a good burger in my humble opinion is the bun. You know when you get a gorgeous piece of meat and juicy tomato and it’s all held together for five seconds by a bun that couldn’t hold it’s own in the 1985 best burger bun bout…this is not that time in history.
\nThis bun was slightly sweet (brioche) and was muscular where it needed to be. The juice dripped down my arms and I liked that. The tomato and meat stayed where it should, my tummy was also pleased about that.<\/p>\n

Patty and Bun<\/span><\/a> I’m seriously thinking you need to come to New Zealand.<\/p>\n

The interior is also a delight. Cozy little booths and tables to discuss your burgers with your dinner pals, dimmed lighting for those romantic first date evenings (and what better way to intro yourself to someone than with burger juice running down your arms) and a gorgeous back room for bigger groups.<\/p>\n

There was even Steve Coogan podcasts playing in the toilets. I could have hugged someone.<\/p>\n

We ate and then ate some more and I couldn’t have been happier. It was absolutely throwing it down outside and we were cozy and warm cooped up with our burgers. Well done Patty and Bun<\/span><\/a>, I’m now screaming about you all over the streets of Queenstown. I’m also dreaming of your chips damn you!<\/p>\n
