Sunday saw wind like you wouldn’t believe (ooh er matron) but also sunshine so we toddled off to Gibbston Valley where The Winehouse was holding their second of three ‘Brewers Series’.

Week one saw Wanaka Beerworks put out a tipple and then this week Cargo Brewery and their first birthday. Finally, next Sunday is Altitude Brewing. All paired with the most delicious menu to complement a Pilsner, Porter, Pale Ale and a lager. We tried them all, naturally.

A three course menu paired with a pilsner went down a treat and what a simply divine place to head out to on a Sunday. Gibbston Valley is a plethora of waterfalls, green fields, wineries, bike riding and bungy. The Winehouse is situated in lush gardens with croquet (what what!) beanbags and music. Sip, settle and relax. Just perfect.

Last in the series this Sunday 12-5pm.
