I love introducing people on here for your creative viewing pleasure. This amazing lady caught my eye and yes another photographer but it&#8217;s my blog and I can show off photographers if I want to. Cue Lesley Gore 1965. If you don&#8217;t know what I&#8217;m talking about shame on you (get to Youtube).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.camillarutherford.co.nz\" target=\"_blank\">Camilla Rutherford<\/a> is a photographer based on a high country farm out in Tarras. A great taker of snaps and lives out in such an isolated place. One of the reasons I love showcasing people who live and work in different circumstances. And she&#8217;s from Scotland so I know the girl comes from good stock.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some words from Camilla<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hello! I am an adventure and lifestyle photographer originally from Scotland. I shoot a whole bunch of things, but my passion lies in shooting action sports, skiing and mountain biking mainly. I live on my husbands high country merino sheep station in Tarras, about an hour away from Queenstown. I am often in Queenstown, more and more these days with photography commissions and assignments for clients from NZ and overseas. Queenstown has so much to offer for someone looking for a location for a photo shoot. I just love that you can shoot on a glacier, by the lake, in the lake, on the lake, in the trees and native bush or on amazing high country pastures all within the close proximity of one small lively town. There are so many amazing restaurants and shops which make this town buzz. My favourite place to eat? The Chop Shop in Arrowtown. My favourite place to shop? Angel Divine on Searle Lane.<\/p>\n<p>A bit about the shot: This was taken on a sunrise photoshoot with professional mountain biker, Canadian, Mike Hopkins. We were heading up to shoot on Queenstown&#8217;s Rude Rock trail off the Coronet Peak access road. The sunrise was spectacular, and what I love about Queenstown is that there is always someone up to enjoy it.
