Marcie and Rosa launched Interior Workroom over 10 years ago, based on a mutual appreciation of well considered interiors and the desire to create thoughtful spaces. Their passion for all things design is still as strong today.
Where we place things, the feel of your bench top, what we sit on, where the light falls when we lie in bed in the morning sipping tea: all aspects are absolutely critical to creating a feeling of ‘home’ and how we live within a space.
Often we find we need help along the way to achieve these fundamental elements and Interior Workroom is the glue that fits that process together.
From the start of the design process right to the very last piece, Marcie and Rosa offer a personalised service balancing the ‘must haves’ with the practical, while guiding each client to navigate the endless selections and decisions required when renovating or building a home.
Designing full interiors, including; spatial planning, specifying interior finishes & fixtures, joinery design, lighting selections, window finishes, furniture procurement as well as designing one off bespoke pieces when that something unique is needed, Marcie and Rosa are as ‘hands on’ as a client needs them to be.
Working with architects, builders, designers & planners these two experienced designers can navigate the myriad of conversations and network of all things building and design. They help shape your dreams into a real life structure and all the fiddly bits in between.
Attention to detail is hugely important to Interior Workroom and they believe it is essential in producing timeless interiors that are uniquely personal to each client.
Some of their specialities include budget planning and documentation, project coordination and discussions with relevant contractors. Problem solving is a large part of their design process, creating solutions, being onsite to see what needs to happen when and where, navigate delays, changes, and compliance.
Need a sofa to fit just there….? A piece of artwork to be procured from there….. A new curve or nuance to a wall? They have a wealth of experience working on a variation of projects from short timeframes to longer ones.
They have a strong belief in supporting local where they can through furniture makers and manufacturers, while also offering bespoke furniture design that is just right. New build or renovated 19th century.
