The Coffee Stand NZ

I love the smell of coffee. Coffee in a morning, afternoon, evening (naughty!) but I hate it when I get to the end of my plunger coffee grinds in the middle of the week. Even worse is when it’s Monday morning and there’s none left. I then have a mini melt down in the kitchen and head off to work grumpy. And grumpy Monday morning does not stand us in good stead for the rest of the week. That is until The Coffee Stand NZ sprang up in my Instagram feed and said hello!

The Coffee Stand NZ is a beautiful mighty company right here in New Zealand, operating on the proviso that you need coffee in your life (yes!) and you need it freshly delivered to your door (yes and yes!) so you don’t have to be grumpy and coffee-less anymore.

The science of it is- you subscribe, you choose your blend (Lustre, Mezzo or The Essential), they small batch roast (so no mess, no waste) and then they send it out to you weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

I went for plunger in The Essential blend, perfect to get me out of bed in a morning. It landed on my front door step like a cloud from the gods. A shiny beacon of light when I had a slight ~~hangover~~ troublesome day at work. Some people scoff at my plunger experience but I love it.

Alone time, kettle on, shining light through the blinds, coffee in, kettle whistle, steaming cup in my hands and the day begins. How do you like yours?
