Did someone say ‘how did we get to April and noone told the tourists how beautiful it is in Autumn?’ I told you didn’t I!? Every year I moan about how cold it’s getting and how Winter is on it’s way and then KERBLAM! There’s Autumn and it rocks my socks off again with it’s beauty. Colour, colour, colour everywhere. Warm sunny days and a slight pinch in the air in the evenings. Lovely. And there’s chocolate to be had because it’s some sort of festival. I for one am not complaining about chocolate and a long weekend. No siree. I’m rocking the long weekend. So much so I might even sleep through the whole thing because who isn’t tired at the moment!?

The wonderful Deborah Coburn featured finally on the blog this week. I am so proud to bring you another long term local business to the blog. Collective Hair and Make up Professionals have been here just over 20 years. Astounding. Now if they could teach me some things about makeup everything would be ok. I can’t be the only one who still does their makeup in the same way they did it when they were 15 can I?

I headed down to Riverton/ Colac Bay for the long weekend to get out of here, have no internet and basically relax. And yes I did. A gorgeous tiny little bach, some walking in the forest and an easter egg hunt with friends. Perfect. Have you visited down there yet? I went a while ago and stayed in this gorgeous bach and took some photos. Read about it here. But for the best part enjoy some photos and enjoy your week people.
