Shabooooom! New word for 2015, like it? I’ve been also saying awesome far too much but the weather has been GLORIOUS! non- resolutions have been coming on a treat like drinking more Pinot Gris, eating more cake and generally riding myself into oblivion. I have decided to try and do the Alpine Classic because I’m completely bonkers. This involves riding over the Crowne Range to Wanaka and then turning around and coming right back over it again. Shaboom? Not so much. We’ll see how we go…..9 weeks.
I also went back to work and lasted 2 hours until I needed coffee. Anyone else suffering in post holiday blues? That’ll be all of us then. I reckon we eeeeeeease back into it, do a few hours then go and lie down in the garden for a bit until it wears off. I thought “how peaceful life has been” then I sent out 10 emails in one go and my diary exploded. Bring it on 2015.
I discovered a gorgeous jewellery designer who used to live in Wanaka and then did the silly thing and moved away BUT lucky for you her jewellery is still available to buy. Audie of Odi Jewellery Design sent me some gorgeous earrings to try out. They’re so light and sleek I could wear them all day and night. I even fell asleep in them in my pyjamas because I have to look like I can go out at any point. And I didn’t even realise I had them in. So comfy. Check out her website here and my piece here.
#Snappers got together for the first time in ages. There was coffee involved (standard) and lots of snapping. We always choose a spot and then everyone sends me their photos. I love love love the fact that everyone’s are always different, how we all see a picture from a different angle. Come join us! Get in touch here You can have any camera you want (I use an iPhone) and just have to have a love for mainly getting out of bed early and drinking coffee. Oh and swearing. We quite like swearing (sorry mum)
I packed up my road bike on Friday and headed to Dunedin for some catch up with a friend time. I itch to take photos and going somewhere new makes this temptation even worse! Hope you like them. I got to meet a gorgeous Fashion Blogger Vanisha from A Life Unstyled, we chatted about blogging and the difficulties we faced. So nice to meet someone new who understands the trials and tribulations! We got to the Farmers Market, Art Gallery, shopping, food, cake and a few G&T’s of course. Have a good week and as always find me on Twitter and Instagram! I’m obsessed.
