Poppy Loves Book Club Queenstown June 2017

Our book club this month is an exciting one! What, you didn’t know we had a club?! Our Poppy Loves Book Club is a group we’ve been part of for over two years. A club where women all over the world read the same book at the same time. We meet together every month at a place of our choosing and then also online with the rest of the world and usually the author too! So we get to ask questions in real time about the stuff we want to know about the book. So so good.

This month in our endeavour to support local independent book clubs we are meeting at Black Cat Book Shop in O’Connell’s Mall. Gail and her team are amazing at providing new and used books to the region. I love book shops, the smell, the little corners and of course all the books to gobble up.

This month we are reading “The Trouble with Goats and Sheep” by Joanna Cannon and meeting at Black Cat on Tuesday 27th June and then online in the Facebook group with the rest of the world and Joanna Cannon on Thursday 29th June.

If you’d like to join us what to do?
