Our Poppy Loves Book Club Queenstown is nearly forever old. That’s old. And if you’re only just learning about it you’ve missed out on so many books! Some we loved, some we hated (with a passion) but we always meet to chat, eat, drink and read. I can’t think of anything else better.
Another wonderful thing about this book club is that it is unlike any other club in the world (fact!). We meet every month together and then again a few days later online with the rest of the women of the world (NZ, Australia, USA, Canada, France, Iraq, Ireland, etc etc) and the AUTHOR (!) reading the same book at the same time. We get to discuss with them and chat with the author about the story and any questions we have for them. Amazing.
This month we are reading ‘The Ship’ by Antonia Honeywell. Real books and kindles are allowed (of course) and we also get special deals from our local supporter Bound Bookstore on Church Street in Queenstown.
