Benn Jae. This wonderful man and I have been trying to meet since his last photography exhibition “Pony Mountain’ earlier this year. Stunningly beautiful images of horses in Central Otago each with their very own names as titles. Fast forward and he’s at it again with his new exhibition ‘Poseidon’.
“I have the water in my veins, the horses at my feet and the mountain by my side. Brace yourself.”
Available for your viewing pleasure from this Sunday 4th December at Cardona Distillery. This space, deep in the Cardona valley, is perfect for such large pieces. Art, music and complementary cocktails from 2pm-5pm.
We caught up for a podcast where we chatted about city life, the infiltration of horses in Benn’s work and our favourite places to go and get some quiet time in Queenstown.
