My skin. Oh lordy my Winter skin makes me weep. It’s crinkly crackly and quite frankly I feel like a snake who’s waiting for it to fall off. I want to lather myself in butter and then spring out the other side looking like a youthful young princess. One can dream…..

Then, like a shiny beacon of skincare superhero-ness Antipodes Nature landed on my doorstep and the lathering could begin. I wish you also had smell-o-vision. Because you’re going to want to spread this stuff on your bagel by the time we’ve finished. I totally didn’t do that (I swear it) but I could have. I really really could have.

The packaging also makes me want to eat it, which, if some of my friends weren’t watching, I probably would, to see what it tasted like. Heavenly I’m sure.

First up the Divine Face Oil which I was slightly scared to try. Reason? Previously I’ve tried oils and I end up smelling like an old chip pan, but fear not this was so beautifully scented I wanted to kiss my cheeks (if I could contort myself). Light and luxurious. I put some on just before bed and left me smelling like rosehips. Alongside this I tried the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream which was soft and gentle.

My absolute favourite was the Joyful Hand and Body Cream. Oh my skin could weep at that baby. It’s thick and creamy and I literally heard my woeful dry skin say “ahhhhhh” as I slathered it on. The packaging in itself is so delightful. If there’s anyone that can make me a dress in that colour I’m in!

Manuka Honey Sun-Brightening Light Day cream for when I wake (after my shower) and a little Manuka Honey Sun-Brightening Eye cream and I’m set. I actually got into the swing of putting eye cream on (because I’m a lazy-as moisturiser) but it feels so good to look after yourself in a morning, afternoon and evening. A little bit of luxury here and there never hurt anyone.

And to finish the piece de resistance! Savour Skin Balm. This little pot of heaven helps with skin troubles, bruises, cracked skin (hellllooooo), I used it to calm my frizzy hair after a particularly windy day, I rubbed it onto sore spots, and maybe maybe used it as a lovely pot for the front room. It’s gorgeous. Have you seen the tin?

I love you Antipodes. I love you. You’ve turned me into some sort of woman who understands what her skin needs and now it’s happy and fresh again. Now where did I put that toast and Manuka Honey Light Day cream?
