Poppy Loves book Club June 2016

This month our Poppy Loves Book Club June 2016 enters the phase of “it’s so cold can I get out from under the covers and reach my book?” but we’re getting there. June’s book is “Luckiest Girl Alive’ by Jessica Knoll.

We are very lucky here in Queenstown to have Bound Bookshop on Church Street, Queenstown where I run and hide my credit card every time I go in. So much choice to be had. They even have discounts if you’re in our club!

The way we work; meeting every month together as a group to review, chat and generally drink and eat as much as we can together. Then a few days later meet online with the rest of the Poppy Loves Book Clubs around the world reading the same book at the same time! How amazing. Another bonus is the author also joins us online too! So you get to ask him/ her all those burning (you might want to get that sorted) questions you’ve always wanted to ask. “Do Romeo and Juliet really die in the end?”, ” Is James Bond really that much of a pig in the books?”. You know simple stuff like that.

We’re a lovely bunch and we also have lots of arguments about what we love and hate too. Great stuff!  A place to be honest, feel safe and drink some lovely wine! If you would like to join us get in touch here!
