I shop around on Instagram. I love to look at things that catch my eye. Ok ok I’m on there all the time, BUT it does mean that I find gorgeous businesses and brands that I know you will love. And if those businesses are here in Queenstown all the better! Incoming Poppy Wynter Designs.

I am a sucker for buying cards. When you see that one that says just what you need it to say to your best mate, gran or new mum and whammo! It can make that special moment between you and someone all that bit more special. If a business also gets it, does it well and is affordable then all the better. Angela Tracey is that said woman who gets it. And boy does she work hard for it. A new mum, business owner, wife, DIY lover, all round good sort. Do you catch my drift yet? AND because she knows how amazing this place is, this Brisbane original is coming back to the place she loves and is set to call Queenstown home again. Hurrah for us.

I am so excited about her stuff that I wanted to share with you and welcome Angela and her wee family here into our family! Hello Poppy Wynter Design.

Who are you?
I’m Angela Tracey a passionate and creative graphic designer and owner of Poppy Wynter Designs. I love all things design, DIY, colours and all that glitters! I’m a new mum and happy wife to my supportive husband.

I love to snowboard, shop and watch good movies (we’ll get on). Poppy Wynter Designs offers everyone a huge range of very unique invitations, wall art, baby milestone and moment photo cards for you to then add your own special touch. All this and affordable too!

What makes you special? Small but Mighty…..?
We are obsessed with customer service and being a small business is what makes this experience such a personal one for the customer. We go through a design process to find out just the right fit. Original, collaborative and with you in mind.

Where’s your life now and why the move to Queenstown?
I’m originally from Brisbane and we lived in Queenstown for over two years. I then fell pregnant with our first baby and we moved back to the mainland to be near our families. Now that we are used to our family we are moving back to the place we call ‘home’ and are set to buy our own house.

Summer’s coming up, what are your favourite things to do?
Although I do love Winter (oh Angela we may fall out ) nothing beats laying in the sun with a good book (just pulled it back). Now we have a child though we can hang out all together at the park and be outside!

Favourite design inspiration, pages you head to when you’re stuck?
Pinterest is one of my favourite places to go and search around and everything is in one place. My favourite artist is Kelli Murray, absolutely stunning work.

Hopes for your business in the future?
Being full time and doing the job I love! Being known for amazing customer service and being affordable so people can have great unique work and be able to pay for it.
