I’m screaming it’s SUMMMMMMMER (like the man from Slade shouting “It’s Chriiiiiiiistmas”) when I know it isn’t yet really but some sun on the bones does wonders for a girl. Long lazy afternoons drinking gin and tonics and riding bikes (you know in-between working and snow. Yep snow. Always a hint more in Spring) and getting ready for the big S.U.M.M.E.R.

This week we had our lovely Poppy Loves Book Club where we were reading “Left of The Bang” by Claire Lowden. We met at Koko Black and ate chocolates, drank hot chocolate and talked about the book. Lot’s of chocolate and laughing later and we now have our new November book in tow “We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves” by Karen Joy Fowler. Want to join us? Get in touch here.

My gorgeous #snappersqueenstown photography group got out and about this week. We headed out to Jacks Point (for a change we went in the evening) and took some snaps and listened to the silence out there. Read about it here and get in touch here if you would like to join us.

The amazing delicious superdupa Remarkables Market started this month and is on until March! I ran over there to get almond croissants and stuff them in my face  share them with my friends. 9am -2pm every Saturday have a read about them here.

On Sunday I hosted a #NZBloggers chat on Twitter. We discussed everything ‘success’ and what that means for us as bloggers, writers and contributors. So much fun and the time flew by! Head over here if you want to join in, there’s usually a chat every Sunday and it’s a great place to meet, ask questions and get support from other bloggers whether you’re a newbie or have been writing for years.

Have a good week people!
