Yum Granola Wanaka

Delicious granola from Yum

Scary ice rink-like roads this week. Slow down people, it’s crazy out there! The Winter festival train keeps on going and Thursday night I performed at Pecha Kucha powered by Mac Pac. It’s true I started off well as I had my trusty denim onesie on and after that, well people laughed and that’s all I wanted. So much fun. Pecha Kucha is great, stated in Tokyo as a way to stop long boring talks you have 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide to talk about them. Brilliant. There were so many amazing talks but my favourite was Joseph Michael who talked about his trip to Antarctica and the beautiful pictures and sounds of icebergs. Amazing.

I also tried and tested some of this gorgeous granola from Yum in Wanaka. Sarah Hedger is a clever lady and you can read about here here. She fits my ‘small but mighty’ brand perfectly.

Luma exhibition

Luma Queenstown also began it’s exhibition as a little taster of next year. Beautiful light installations and structures around Queenstown, lit up at night. Amazing and I for one want in next year! Head here to have a look at more.

Poppy Loves Book Club met up in Madam Woo and we chatted about all things books. This month we were reading Elizabeth Fremantle’s ‘Sister’s of Treason’. We then met online a few days later with the rest of the world! And Elizabeth joined us too which was very exciting. Head here if you would like to join us! There’s 80 of us now!
