I pulled my neck out last week. It hurt like hell and caused me to lie awake at 3am working out where I was and why did it all hurt so much. But it also got me thinking about how we only really look after ourselves when we hurt ourselves, so May is a month of rediscovering the trails, sorting out the fire wood and getting the freezer stocked full of food for the crock pot. I shall be giving you a ‘survive for Winter’ post soon as I’ve been here 9 years yesterday and I’ve seen my fair share of shitty houses that are freezing. $1000 electricity bills. Yes sireeee I’ve had ’em and I don’t want you to have to do that. There’s mulled wine to buy!
I attended the amazing #instameetwanaka on Saturday afternoon and got to hang out with some of the BEST photographers in the world from Instagram. Amazing. Read about it here. Have you discovered us on Instagram yet? You can can find us here.
In late news the snowy dark cloud of Winter arrived on Sunday and I for one am trying to embrace it (whilst huddled in a duvet) and I’m planning lots of expeditions to keep me entertained throughout the cold months, Come join me!
