I spotted this talented lady Audie Wilkinson and her jewellery design Odi Boutique Jewellery on Instagram and found myself saying “I want that. And that. And that. Oh and a few of those” so thought I’d better get in touch with her and let her know I wasn’t some crazy fool just liking everything and also to GET HER ON HERE! She sent me some deliciously light and stunning earrings which I haven’t taken off. They’re not heavy, which I hate about some earrings as you can’t wear them all day and night and they’re sleek and sophisticated like me. (Stop laughing at the back).

Welcome Audie.

“Hello!  I am a jewellery designer originally from Dunedin, I live and breathe jewellery on a daily basis! and have done for the last 11 years. I create most of my ranges mainly from amazing coloured cow hides and skins, but recently started upping my game into creating a cast silver and bronze range due to release in the next few months.

After selling up in cromwell in search of a something new we spent a year on a high country farm in Makarora, top of lake wanaka , it was amazing, the view alone from the house was breath taking. The house overlooked the Wilkin River and valley, we had fresh water that came off the mountain and it was so peaceful, but due to work we then moved to away to Greytown in Wellington, we do like change so off we went. What a shock that was after spending around 6 years in the glorious Central Otago region! We are getting used to it, it’s just going to taking time.

Central is still very much in our hearts! We miss it daily, the scenery alone is enough to make your day. The dry air, snow capped mountains, lakes, the people, so much to see and do. Queenstown was great for shopping and a coffee or a drive to Glenorchy to soak up the countryside. We enjoyed boating all the lakes in the region, my husband is a keen wake boarder and water skier and I enjoyed driving the boat.

Right now we would love to move back to the lakes but things are going well with work and we have sadly had to choose between lifestyle and work!

My jewellery can be found throughout Central  in Wonder Room in Wanaka, Sequoia in the old Cromwell town and in the stylish Lovely Black in Alexandra.”
