We got some sun! Unlike the North Island which seems to be glistening with endless rain we’ve had some gorgeous days to get out and enjoy everything that Queenstown has to offer us.
I had a week of eating (no changes there then) particularly as The Sherwood which you can read about here. They are some doing amazing stuff there- yoga, food, accommodation. Mountain bike jump park anyone? My pick for New Years for sure.
I’ve also finished my other (one of many) jobs til the 6th of January. Woweeeeee bike rides a go-go. I’ve gotten back on the roady and forgot how amazing it is. You get to nosey at all the houses you can’t see from the car and get down all the quiet lanes here.
Issimo Queenstown have The Mighty Purse, selling exclusively in the town centre. This bag is a gorgeous soft leather (yes I smelt it) and has a phone charger inside. So perfect for me as my phone is my work and the battery runs down quicker than I can eat cake. Read about it here.
My work’s Christmas party was in Wanaka. It ended with me running fully clothed into Lake Wanaka. And there was no booze involved! Result. An amazing day of hot sun, beach time and relaxing.
As the week draws nearer to Christmas I’m really going to try and have some unwind time and get geared up for a New Year of posts, pictures and bringing you all the delights of Queenstown and Central. And who knows….maybe a bit further afield. Keep watching.
I also rode up Coronet Peak. It nearly killed me. Pick something scary this Summer and DO IT. Next attempt the Crowne Range from this side. Come laugh at me.
Despite this my Instagram addiction will still run free. Are you there? Come find me here
With that I wish you all a Merry Christmas, lie down on the floor and let the world pass you by. Drink some sherry, eat some mince pies and for gawd’s sake don’t snog your mates best friend’s uncle under the mistletoe.
