I turned up to meet Kelly from So Sweet Wedding Hire  at her home on a foggy afternoon in Luggate and I was met by homemade cup cakes. The deal was sealed, the fire was on and the cat and dog was settled by it and I was ready to hear her story.I was intrigued by So Sweet when I first stumbled across pages and pages of pictures of antique furniture and china teacups (an obsession of mine) on Facebook. I was not planning a wedding (before you all ask) but I zoomed over to her website as I wanted to know why she was so obsessed with china and High Tea Cake stands ( I am too. I don’t apologise). And then I realised.
This lady is in love with weddings. Since her own, which was gorgeous check out the website, she just couldn’t part with all the lovely things she used for it. And so wanted to give others the chance to have her images and creative thought processes as part of their weddings.
Kelly has always been into art, crafting, baking, making, sewing (I could go on, she’s very talented) and so this business idea was a given.

Everything is for hire and Kelly is available to help style or work with your ideas, it couldn’t be anymore perfect.
She has been recently covering Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, Alexandra, Roxburgh and Invercargill.Everything on the website is individually (and so helpfully) priced and you can feel the love for everything oozing out of it all. Gorgeous crockery, games, flowers, beautiful linen, placemats, glassware, bunting, props, bottles, pictures, the list goes on. And if she hasn’t got it and you want it, she’ll get it.Get it. Good.

We discussed our love for antique fares and bike riding and we went totally off point so it was definitely time to go. But I’m sure i’ll be seeing much more of this young lady in the future. I just need to swag me a husband 😉
